Insight Memory Care Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit whose mission is to provide specialized care, support and education for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments, their families, caregivers, and the community through our adult day health and resource center. Serving Northern Virginia since 1984, IMCC offers a spectrum of holistic care, education and support, with a vision of a community where those affected by memory impairments can achieve the highest quality of life. IMCC also provides a safe and therapeutic environment for people in all stages of dementia. A vital part of IMCC is providing a well-rounded therapeutic recreation program that meets the physical, cognitive and social needs of each participant.

IMCC is looking for a Full-time Assistant Director with an ALFA license. Under direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Assistant Director (AD) is responsible for the day to day onsite management of the organization. In the absence of Executive Director, acts as the primary property contact for the community. The AD is also responsible for oversight of the Center programs including the day center programs, the early stage programs, the education programs and offerings, support services, and works in conjunction with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies for marketing and maintaining a high quality presence in the general community and the long-term care arena. The AD will be responsible for assisting in creation of new IMCC programs to further our mission. They will work with the team to maintain a high degree of participant satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high quality services of all care, education and support services. The AD also ensures the Center’s physical plan is up to standards through the frequent inspections that meet IMCC’s standards of excellence.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
ALFA license is required in order to perform this position as mandated by state regulations. If you do not currently possess this license you will not be considered for this position.
